Mercedes-Benz divided between Germany and Hungary, the future production of Class B

The German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz, the Daimler group, divide the production of the new generation of Class B from its factory in Rastatt Germanic, where the model is manufactured from June 2005 and the new Hungarian plant in Kecskemét.

Mercedes-Benz presented the new Class B in September, under the International Motor Show in Frankfurt. The car, which will have four versions will be manufactured in Germany since the fall and in Hungary, from the first quarter of 2012.
Rastatt factory last year reached a production of 238,351 units of this model, Mercedes-Benz has sold worldwide over 700,000 units since it began marketing in 2005.
Despite his impending renewal, the firm has increased sales of Class B by 26.8% so far this year, with 52,640 units, thanks largely to strong demand in Germany, China and Italy.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mercedes-Benz Cars, Joachim Schmidt, moved the company wants to increase its share penetration in the segment with the successors of the Class A and Class B as well as two new sports variants.
