Funciones: XThe Commercial Director reports to the President & CEO, GE Lighting EMEA with having a scope on leading sales and sales operations in specification, OEM, distribution and consumer channels with over 500 MM USD+ sales volume, a 200+ organization in the regions of Europe (France, Benelux, UK, Ireland, Nordic, Germany, Italy, Spain, Central Eastern Europe, Russia).The Commercial Director identifies and reacts to market trends, holds topline accountability, interfaces and negotiates with Customers.

Understand geographic and competitive landscape, develop a customer target list that aligns to the GE commercial & product strategy/roadmap.

Define and implement go to market and growth strategy, roadmap to execution.

Own and lead sales turnover and sales teams, work closely with all support functions and ensure priorities.

Develop new and existing customer relationships, identify and propose business development opportunities that can accelerate growth.

Direct and control sales activities, including the setting of sales plans, objectives and the development of future strategies.

Plan and develop market penetration strategies for the region.

Grow the overall sales of products, accelerating the sales in the existing market segments as well as specification and developing channels.

Develop sales, marketing and application capability as part of the end user solution approach.

Set Growth Culture, develop and coach leadership team.

Promote GE values and integrity to all levels of the organization.



Requisitos: University or college degree in marketing, commercial or business.

5+ years selling/marketing products/services/solutions or similar.
Lighting market experience preferred.

10 years’ experience in business (preferably in multiple functions, sales experience is essential).

Strategic thinker coupled with strong execution. Strategy development experience for a standalone business unit.

A proven track record of leading a business unit in the process of sales growth is essential.

The successful candidate is entrepreneurial, ambitious, rigorous, and has superior leadership and team-building skills. The successful candidate also possesses the professional and interpersonal skills to work effectively with leaders within other functions.

A team player having the ability to interact effectively with various functions within all businesses, network across GE Business
Units and work in a matrix organization.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to make executive level presentations to secure growth opportunities and develop relationships.

Fluency in English is mandatory, any other European language knowledge is welcome.
