La cadena gallega Carrís Hoteles inaugura este viernes su primer establecimiento en Oporto (Portugal), el Carrís Porto Ribeira, que cuenta con 90 habitaciones.

El Hotel Carrís Porto Ribeira de Oporto es el resultado de la rehabilitación integral que la cadena ha realizado de cinco edificios catalogados, unidos por pasarelas y convertidos ahora en un cuatro estrellas superior, con 90 habitaciones, 11 de ellas suites.
El nuevo establecimiento de Carrís está en el centro histórico de la ciudad portuguesa y aunque celebra este viernes su inauguración oficial, se encuentra funcionando desde el pasado mes de marzo.
Con este hotel, son ocho las unidades de Carrís en funcionamiento: el Carrís Almirante (Ferrol), Carrís Marineda (A Coruña), Carrís Casa de la Troya (Santiago), Carrís Beiramar (Vigo), Carrís Alfonso IX (Sarria), Carrís Cardenal Quevedo (Ourense) y Metropol by Carrís (Lugo).
El director de Operaciones de cadena, Jorge Jáñez, destacó que la presentación tiene lugar "en un país muy especial" en el que esperan estar "aún más presentes".
El acto de inauguración comenzará con las intervenciones de algunas de las autoridades asistentes como el embajador español en Portugal, Eduardo Junco, el presidente de la Cámara de Comercio Luso-española, Enrique Santos, o el alcalde de Oporto, Rui Rio.
Con la apertura del nuevo establecimiento en Oporto, la cadena hotelera cierra la primera fase de expansión del grupo que en un futuro espera posicionarse en otras ciudades del Norte de Portugal y en las capitales de Lisboa, Madrid y Barcelona.
