Cinetrip waves goodbye to Rudas bath
We have multiple reasons to celebrate on April 23rd: it’s Easter, spring is blooming, and we are ending both this season and a big part of our history - on this night we will have the last Cinetrip at Rudas bath.
Rudas bath has been the regular venue of our events for the last 13 years (that is ever since Cinetrip started) and as such it played a major role in our success story. During this time we organised more than 100 parties that nearly 100000 people from all corners of the globe attended, and we bought many big international acts to Hungary for the first time.
We are proud to declare that over the years Cinetrip not only gave a much-needed push to Budapest’s party scene, but also became one of the main attractions of the capital with its inimitable invention of audio-visual water circus entertainment. By constantly attracting the attention of international press, Cinetrip became one of the brands shaping the image of Hungary.
All this could not be achieved without the continuing support of Rudas bath’s management and the ardent involvement of its staff, the top performances of our djs, vjs, dancers and acrobats, and the strenuous work of each and every member of our staff. We would like to thank everyone who has ever put their efforts to making Cinetrip happen. We are extremely lucky that our work has been rewarded with enduring love and unforgettable scenes of revelling by the ticket-buying public, to whom we owe our ceaseless gratitude.
We were at home in Rudas bath, but still it is time for us to seek new adventures at a new location. But before that we will have one last Cinetrip Water Circus at Rudas on April 23rd, with farewell appearances by our acrobat queen Debora, fire-juggler team Duotrixx and the belly dancers of Amira. This exceptional moment will be made even more memorable by having a big pool of our dearest dj friends behind the decks.
After the Rudas send-off party on April 23rd, we will have only a short break, because Cinetrip is not taking a summer holiday! We are planning to stage two large-scale open air events at Széchanyi bath, the first on June 24th and the next on August 6th.
And after the summer we are looking to start our autumn/winter season afresh, settling in at a bigger bathing venue, with a redesigned look and a different show to offer a brand new Cinetrip experience.
