Increased construction activity in Hungary, heads the largest increase in the eurozone over the previous September .

The construction activity fell by 1.3% in September in the eurozone, but up three tenths in Spain

BRUSSELS, 19 Nov. (EuropaPress ) -
   The production of the construction sector in the euro area in September recorded a decline of 1.3% from the previous month , when it rose three tenths , according to data released Thursday by the statistical office Eurostat , which reflects an increase of the activity of construction in Spain of 0.3%.
   Compared with the same month last year , the activity of the construction sector in the eurozone fell 0.2 % , while, on the contrary , in the case of Spain increased by 6.1 % , the second largest Twenty-eight rising .
   In the whole EU , the construction activity also declined by 1.3% compared to August, when it rose two tenths , while in annual terms registered an increase of 0.2 % .
   Among the countries for which data are available for September 2013, construction output rose in six and fell in nine compared to the previous month.
   The largest gains occurred in Slovenia ( +6.2 % ), Slovakia (+1.6 % ) and Hungary ( 0.8 % ) , while the steepest declines occurred in Portugal (-12.3 % ) , Romania (-6.9 %) and Czech Republic (-4.6 % ) .
   Compared to September last year, the biggest losses are accumulated Portugal (-14.9 % ) , Czech Republic ( -11.8 % ), Slovenia ( -7.9 % ) and Italy ( -6.1 % ) ; while the head increases Hungary ( +9.3 % ) , Spain ( +6.1 % ) and the UK ( +4.6 % ) .
