Bridgestone will invest 267 million in triple production at its plant in Hungary
The Japanese tire manufacturer Bridgestone will invest 26,700 billion yen (267 million euros) in triple production capacity of its plant in Hungary (Bridgestone Tatabánya TERMELO), the company said in a statement.

This cash injection will be used to increase production capacity at this facility by 12,000 tires a day, which will go to the center to have a manufacturing capacity of 18,000 units per day.
The corporation said that operations of this production center expansion is expected to be completed in the first half of 2017. The firm said it is continuously optimizing its production and delivery systems in order to respond more quickly to trends in global market demand.
Bridgestone owns the factory that Hungary is dedicated to the manufacture of radial tires for passenger cars and currently has a workforce of 350 workers. The center has an area of 660,000 square meters.
