Daimler begins production of the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake in Hungary
 The German carmaker Daimler has started production at its Hungarian plant in Kecskemét the CLA Shooting Brake, which becomes the second variant of CLA manufactured at this facility three years after its opening, according to the company said in a statement.

 Responsible for Production and Supply Chain Mercedes-Benz Cars, Markus Schäfer, said the start of production of CLA Shooting Brake is the fifth successful launch of the new generation of compact cars the firm as a global production network.
 Last year, the Hungarian factory produced about 150,000 units of Class B models and CLA in 2014 and since it started its activity in 2012 has manufactured more than 300,000 vehicles. The signing of the star said the CLA is manufactured exclusively in Kecskemét since January 2013.
 Daimler said that the production center of Rastatt (Germany) works three shifts since October 2012, while that of Kecskemét does from May last year. He also recalled that since August 2013 have an additional production capacity of Class A, thanks to the agreement with Valmet Automotive.
 The company stressed that the GLA for marketing in the Chinese market will begin manufacturing in the first half of this year through the joint venture that holds in China Beijing Benz Automotive Corporation.
