Opel invests 130 million in its engine plant in Hungary
Budapest (Hungary), February 12, 2013
    The German carmaker Opel, a General Motors will invest 130 million Szenghottárd Hungarian plant for the production of a new generation 1.6-liter engine and four cylinders.
    So what progress has been responsible for government relations for Opel, Joachim Moschnicke, in a joint appearance with the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
    The investment - which will increase the annual production of 100,000 Hungarian factory to reach the 600,000 engines - is part of Opel's product offensive that includes the launch of 23 new models and 13 new engines until 2016.
    The project consists of the expansion of the factory in additional 1,600 square meters, where 80 new machines will be installed. The cumulative investment in Hungary Opel reaches 1,400 million euros.
