The Hungarian Eötvös, Golden Lion for career Music Festival in Venice

Rome, 27 jun (EFE) .- The composer and conductor Peter Eötvös Hungarian has been awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 55th International Festival of Contemporary Music in Venice, to be held the next September 24 to October 1.
The organization of Italian music festival, which will present the award at the inaugural ceremony on 24 September, reports today in a statement that also has decided to award the Silver Lion for new generations to Italian RepertorioZero.
