More than 20 importers of agri-food brands in Hungary prepared Andalusian promotions 2012

A total of 22 importers of 25 brands of Andalusia have participated in a meeting to prepare for promotion to make in 2012 organized by the Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia (Extenda), an agency under the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Science in Hungary, Through its Business Promotion Office in Budapest.

A total of 22 importers of 25 brands of Andalusia have participated in a meeting to prepare for promotion to make in 2012 organized by the Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia (Extenda), an agency under the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Science in Hungary, Through its Business Promotion Office in Budapest.
This action was carried out to evaluate the year 2011, check the schedule of 2012 to explore possibilities of collaboration in gourmet shops and other activities to promote Andalusian products.
The brands that were represented through their Hungarian importers are Almería - Luxeapers, cohors and Near - Cadiz - Bodegas Barbadillo, Bodegas Hidalgo-La Gitana, Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castilla, Huerta de Albala, 501 and Sandeman Winery - Córdoba - Acorsa, and Oil Iberandalus Cortijo Garay - and Granada - Al Andalus Delicatessen Sanavia and -.
There were also companies of Jaén - Emilio Vallejo, Sausages and Unioliva Carchelejo - Malaga - Malaga Virgen Winery - and Sevilla - Interoliva, Sovena, Rafael Salgado, Ybarra, Andalusia Foods, Citrus Andalusian and Basilippo -.
Besides the evaluation of the activities of Extenda programming in 2011 and 2012, detailed by the Director of the Office of Extenda in Hungary, there were presentations by two experts in economics, in order to provide current information about importing the market.
The first intervention, by Mark Toth, a professor of economics at the Szent István University, focused on 'The current situation of finance and trade taxes'. Moreover, Zoltán Zeman, director of the Institute of Finance at the university, informed attendees about current economic trends and future prospects.
The meeting, which was also attended by the director of marketing for CORA hypermarket chain and the head of international relations of the CBA supermarket chain, ended with a lunch held in the Andalusian Spanish hotel chain Iberostar.
